Zaniolo’s father speaks about his son’s success

Igor Zaniolo, the father of Roma’s Nicolò Zaniolo, was interviewed by Tuttomeecatoweb about his son’s sensational performance as of late. These are his words:

Now it makes no sense to talk about being surprise by Nicolò.
Nicolò is doing really well, he is there for everyone. But the road is still long and he only has to keep working, without losing his head.

How was it to see him and support him at the Olimpico for the second consecutive time?
A beautiful emotion, he’s given me those countless time this season. From the national team to the Champions League, and then the league, Nicolò has made great strides in recent months.

His personality really seems to be extraordinary.
It is true that one of his characteristics is precisely that —- showing a personality and maturity that is not often seen in a nineteen year old. On the pitch, both with the ball and without, he seems a much more experienced player. And even in training he is one that spits blood —- because no one simply hands you a starting shirt for Roma. There is constant work being put in, which is behind his success.

With Roma, they’re already talking about a renewal until 2024 with an important salary adjustment.
I know that it has been talked about, but Nicolò is concentrated only on the pitch right now. He is very grateful to Roma, a great team that gave him his first opportunity at high levels. There’s only Roma in his head and he wants to continue like this.
