Santon, Zaniolo arriving for Nainggolan

Il Tempo (Austini): The exchange between Roma and Inter is almost done with Davide Santon being entered into the deal. The two clubs are about to finalise a laborious negotiation, which will bring Nainggolan to Inter for €24 million plus two players: young trequarista Nicolò Zaniolo and the 1991 class fullback Santon. Santon, who can play on both flanks, represents a useful “jolly” in Eusebio Di Francesco’s chessboard. Zaniolo will go to the summer ritiro with the Giallorossi and then the club will evaluate whether to let him float between the first team and Primavera or loan him to a team where he can accumulate experience.

The negotiations are nearing the end, the final agreement is still missing (including the agreement between Roma and Santon’s agent), and then it will become official, as Nainggolan receives a €40 million valuation while the Giallorossi will earn a €34 million plusvalenza despite the “cash” arriving from Inter being €24 million. And of course, Inter will also realise a plusvalenza on both youngsters going to Roma.

Once the deal is closed, Roma will summon Pastore to the capital for his medical visits: the agreement with PSG has been practically reached. Another purchase will be Antonio Mirante: the swap made with Bologna will bring the former Parma shot-stopper to Rome, where he will undergo his medical tomorrow. He will be the vice-Alisson or another name as the Brazilian continues to be linked to Real Madrid.
