Lazio ultras claim responsibility for mannequins

The Lazio ultras group “Irriducibili Lazio Curva Nord” have claimed responsibility for the controversial display of mannequins hanged in Roma shirts near the Colosseum. The group has also published an official statement on LazioPress.it, here is a portion of their words:

“The Irriducibili Lazio Curva Nord claims responsibility of the banner that appeared last night and clarifies that everything should be seen as healthy banter that is generated from the capital Derby. It is not a threat to any Roma player, they’re inflatable dolls, and represent a metaphor which meant to highlight the depressive state of the fans and players on the other side of the Tiber. This press release was born from the need to respond and protect ourselves.”
