Il Tempo’s Austini: “I expect Roma to be active on the transfer market.”

Il Tempo football journalist Alessandro Austini spoke to RomaPress today to discuss the transfer market and the management situation surrounding the club.

Regardless of Sunday’s result: will Rudi Garcia leave Roma?
It’s not certain, everything is still possible. Since Roma won and played better than the last 6-7 games maybe he could be safe.

Who would be your choice to replace Garcia? After the failure with Zeman, would it be wise for another reunion, but this time with Spalletti?
My choice would be Bielsa. He is a football genius. But I totally agree on Spalletti: there are too many risks of failure like Zeman 2.0.

Regardless if a new manager arrives, what must be changed within the team?
Iturbe is gone so the team needs a new winger and they are searching for one. In my opinion, Roma must buy a right back too but I don’t think they will (buy one).

How active on the transfer market do you expect Roma to be?
Quite active. I expect 2-3 new players plus Strootman back. He could be the real “crack” of the transfer market.
