Sky Sport: Roma, Watford reach agreement for Juan Iturbe

Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Roma’s Juan Iturbe will leave the Giallorossi and join English outfit Watford.

Reportedly, the English club will pay €1.5 million for the 6 month loan of Iturbe until June, at which point they will have an option to purchase the Argentine for €18 million. The agreement will be formalized after Sunday’s crucial match against Genoa. Iturbe departs Roma after failing to live up to his massive €23 million price-tag while making 56 total appearances for Roma and scoring 5 goals along with 5 assists.

With the departure of Iturbe, Roma are expected to now search for a right-back in the transfer market and perhaps move Alessandro Florenzi forward to the right-wing.
