Corriere dello Sport: Garcia to be sacked

Tomorrow’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport (below) claims Roma manager Rudi Garcia will be sacked.

Reportedly, the Frenchman is set to be sacked after Sunday’s clash against Genoa after the Giallorossi crashed out against Spezia in the Coppa Italia and currently sit fifth in the Serie A table. After initially receiving support from the club after the loss to Spezia, the club’s hierarchy had a crisis meeting late into the night, which appeared to be the turning point in the club’s mind. Now, Luciano Spalletti, Marcello Lippi, Fabio Capello, and Walter Mazzarri are the four names president James Pallotta is ready to speak with for the post-Rudi Garcia era as the former Lille manager appears destined for an exit from Trigoria.
