Sky Italia: Holebas a step away from Watford move

Roma’s Jose Holebas is a step away from a switch to English club Watford, claims Sky Italia.

Watford admires the player’s profile and they have offered between €2-€3 million for the Greek (Roma paid €1 million last summer). Currently, there is a summit at Trigoria between sporting director Walter Sabatini and the entire staff, including Rudi Garcia and Simone Beccaccioli. As talks continue, there is chance that the deal could close by Monday.

Fabio Parisi, Holebas’ agent, spoke to VoceGiallorossa about the situation:

“Nothing is done. There is confirmation of Watford’s interest, but there is absolutely nothing done. For now, the player’s will is to have a holiday.”

After one season, Holebas appears to be on his way out of Roma.
