SportMediaset: Borriello to Genoa is done

Italian outlet SportMediaset claims Roma’s Marco Borriello is set to return to Genoa on a permanent deal.

Borriello, who has been a bit-part player for all but one season since he joined Roma, is set to embark on his third stint with Genoa. Reportedly, the striker will sign a one and a half year contract and earn €1.3 million (net) per season.

The move marks Roma’s first sale of the transfer window and could start a flurry of moves for the capital club, who are also looking to sell Urby Emanuelson.
