Sky Sport: Konoplyanka won’t extend his contract with Dnipro, Roma and Inter considering a move

The two Italian teams that will face each other at the Olimpico are battling to secure a deal for the Ukrainian winger, Gianluca Di Marzio  reports.

Yevhen Konoplyanka (25) is reportedly closer to leaving his homeland. His contract is due to expire in June 2015, and members of the player’s entourage (including Jevhen’s father) are pushing for a move to a high-profile club. Roma and Inter are the Italian clubs that are realistically considering a move, but the high fee requested by the Ukrainian side (€10 million) has put Roma’s management off for the moment. However, Konoplyanka rejected the last extension offer from Dnipro and therefore it is likely that the interested clubs are going to keep the Ukrainian under their radars.
