Francesco Totti: “I’ll stay with Roma until the end…”

Francesco Totti was interview by La Gazzetta dello Sport this afternoon after being awarded with the Premio Internazionale Giacinto Facchetti award:

What does this award mean to you?
Thank you for this award — it’s so important, it is a great reward, I’m glad that the Facchetti family thought of me, it means that I’m still doing pretty well on the field. It’s a nice recognition.

If they told you that you’d win league titles, the Champions League, or the Ballon d’Or with another shirt: would you leave Roma?
No, now Roma is the only love that I have in football. I’ll stay with her (Roma) until the end.

Your dreams?
Well, the ultimate dream is to win the Champions League.

The goal you’ve felt the most?
The goal from Roma-Parma, the title, an unforgettable day, I felt the beating of my heart.

Is this the right year?
I hope so, for the city that deserves the big stage and (big) wins, they (Roma fans) have a passion unlike any other.
