Rudi Garcia: The results? I have no regrets.

Roma manager Rudi Garcia appeared on Roma TV this afternoon, here are his words.

On the Champions League…
In four match-days we’ve played Bayern Munich twice and once away to City, I did not expect to be second. I knew that the first home game would be important to win, we did that and now we’ll need these three points (against Moscow).

How about your initial results (this season)…
The game is always the same, we rely on that. Maybe there is only one regret: the first half against Napoli — you could, perhaps, point to that match. Other than that, I have no regrets, not even with Bayern. We need to improve, to grow, it’s important. And make it possible to do something like advancing to the next round. It’s a very lofty goal, we knew that coming from the fourth pot we’d get the group of death.

Your relationship with Sabatini…
He’s a special person, he’s a psychologist, he’s intelligent and intuitive. Even when I didn’t speak with language, (Frederic) Massara was translating between us, we understand each other. I like challenges.

And Pallotta?
The president is one who takes care of others, he’s a normal guy. I loved going to New York to see him for the first time. I found an open (dialogue) and you could see that it’s a club where everyone are friends with the passion to make Roma strong.
