Roma deadline day round-up

Roma formally announced the transfers of Alessio Romagnoli and Mapou Yanga Mbiwa this evening and there was also a development in the potential signing of Adrien Rabiot from PSG.

Roma announced that Sampdoria will pay 0.5 million to take Romagnoli on loan and will also have an option to purchase the young centre back for 2 million. Roma will maintain the right to counter Sampdoria’s potential purchase and in that scenario would pay Sampdoria 0,75 million. Roma also released the details of Yanga Mbiwa’s loan deal which will require the Giallorossi to pay £1 million for the loan itself and then £5.5 million should the capital based club want to make the player’s stay permanent.

Sky Italia report that Roma and PSG could not agree to terms for Rabiot but that Roma would try to acquire the young Frenchman during the January transfer window.
