Borriello is closer to Palermo: the latest

Marco Borriello looks to have played in the giallorosso jersey for the very last time, his move to Palermo is getting closer.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Tele Radio Stereo, Borriello’s sale to Palermo is virtually “closed”. Roma will be paying a significant portion of Borriello’s enormous €3 million net salary in order to help facilitate his move to Sicily. Borriello’s contract, which he signed in 2010, is set to expire in June, which will come as a relief to the Giallorossi, who have been attempting the permanent sale of Borriello for almost 4 straight seasons.
