Sabatini finalising Roma’s mercato plans

With today being the last Friday of the transfer window Roma’s Sporting Director, Walter Sabatini, has reportedly been holding various meetings to secure a couple more signings for Roma’s squad on the eve of the season’s kickoff.

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Roma are currently looking for a strategy to bring Adrien Rabiot to Roma. Earlier this morning French paper L’Equipe revealed that Roma had reached an agreement (15 million) with PSG to sign Rabiot and were currently in talks pertaining to the player’s potential contract with Roma. Pedulla tweeted earlier this afternoon that Roma could even look to bring the young midfielder to the club in January and thus pay a lesser transfer fee.

It also seems that Sabatini is holding meetings with Palermo and Cesena representatives to discuss the sale of Marco Borriello who is seen as surplus to requirements at Roma.
