SportItalia: Updates on Borriello

SportItalia journalist Alfredo Pedullà released an update on Marco Borriello via his official website:

“Three options for Marco Borriello: the decision is in a sprint. Cesena has admired him for some time now, they’ve explored his availbility and now they’re torn: Roma has made him available but a team must pay a significant portion of his wages, but also depends on who Borriello prefers. In the meantime, interest from Palermo has materialized and they have offered to pay around €800,000 net of the €3.3 million in wages still owed to Borriello until June. Roma have asked them to pay at least €400,000-€500,000 more – the deal is not closed. The third option is remaining with Roma until his contract is up in June, even if he hasn’t completely convinced Roma. The situation remains very fluid.”
