Ucan discusses Roma move

Young midfielder Salih Uçan spoke with Turkish outlet Fanatik about his move to the Giallorossi:

“My initial feelings? The first thing is that I must learn Italian, even though I’ve already started doing it slowly. The American tour was very useful. The coach wants me to cover an entire zone where I’m playing. Roma? They’ve been tracking me since my first season at Fenerbahce, they’ve always followed me. However, I had to wait, even during the negotiations. The first year with Fenerbahce was positive, it was a great opportunity for me. Last season, however, I didn’t get to play much under Ersun Yanal, but then the Giallorossi made an offer to Fenerbahce and I’ve accepted it. They know me better than I know myself and they know how to play football really well. They made a conscious decision in bringing me here.”
