Curci set for France

Longtime out-of-favor goalkeeper Gianluca Curci, whose contract with the Giallorossi expires in June 2015, is set to join newly promoted French club Lens, according to L’Equipe.

Curci has played 5 seasons for his hometown club but has never been able to breakthrough and become the Giallorossi’s first choice goalkeeper. Curci has spent loan spells at Bologna, Sampdoria, and Siena and with Lukasz Skorupski and Bogdan Lobont in front of him at Trigoria, Curci has sought a move away from Roma since his return from Bologna, where he spent the past two seasons.

Reportedly, Curci’s deal with Lens is expected to be announced by tomorrow afternoon, where he will likely sign a two year contract with the club.
