AS Roma officially kicked off their 2014/15 Campaign with a friendly against Indonesia u23 at the Stadio Centro d’Italia di Rieti this afternoon. New signing Juan Iturbe did not make his debut and transfer touted Mehdi Benatia didn’t play either, while Salih Uçan, Urby Emanuelson and Ashley Cole all featured in the game at some point.

7′ – Roma: Alessandro Florenzi scored a placed shot after a Mattia Destro strike rebounded off an Indonesian defender’s body.

12′ – Roma: Salih Uçan scored a long driven shot after a spell of Roma pressure and possession.

43′ – Roma: Marco Borriello got on the end of a Paredes corner to head past the Indonesian u23 goalkeeper.

56′ – Indonesia u23: Rasyid Bakri scored a well placed shot after finding himself in a one-on-one situation with Lobont.
