Viviani “a step away” from Leeds

Federico Viviani is set for England. Roma Press along with La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Messaggero are reporting this evening that Roma’s Federico Viviani will join the newly-formed Italian contingency lead by Massimo Cellino at Leeds United.

Viviani, who enjoyed a successful spell in Serie B with Latina, is set for another season away from the Eternal City after not being called by Rudi Garcia to the team’s pre-season training camp. Viviani hasn’t worn the giallorosso shirt since Luis Enrique’s reign in the capital, which ended after one season. The deal for the youngster, as of now, does not include an option to buy, so Roma will still control the future of the player after his spell in England comes to an end next summer.
