Sky Italia: Iturbe to Roma is nearly done

In a stunning twist, Juan Iturbe is just steps away from being an official player of AS Roma.

As reported by Sky Italia, after arriving in Rome this afternoon for a summit with Juventus to finalize a contract – the deal between Iturbe and the Turin-based club was called off after Antonio Conte’s resignation. Once this news was learned, Walter Sabatini and Roma worked quickly to find an agreement with Verona, which has already been agreed to: Roma will pay €28 million plus the loan of Alessio Romagnoli for Iturbe. Roma will offer the player a 5 year contract worth €1.6 million per season plus bonuses, which would raise his salary to €2.5 million. Roma are close to acquiring Juan Iturbe.
