Roma close deal for Carrasco

Roma’s fifth acquisition of this transfer window.

After Keita, Uçan, Cole and Emanuelson, Walter Sabatini has now closed the deal for Monaco’s young, Belgian talent Yannick Ferreira Carrasco. Carrasco is a highly talented winger and could potentially fill a void left by Adem Ljajic, should the Serbian leave.

The 20 year old will arrive in the capital this weekend and – according to Leggo – will sign a four-year contract with a net salary of 1.7 million plus some performance related bonuses. Monaco are set to receive 5 million from Roma, a small transfer fee for a big talent whose contract with Monaco was set to expire in 12 months time.
