D’Alessandro unsure of future

Marco D’Alessandro, the Roma-owned winger who spent the past season at Cesena, has spoken with Tele Radio Stereo after being linked with a loan move to Empoli, Atalanta, and Parma.

“The rumors? I’ve been told of Atalanta’s interest and it pleases me, it’s a place I like and I can’t deny that I’d be happy to wear the colors. Let’s wait and see, my agent is handling these things, let’s see how the situation evolves but it would be really nice, so there’s no use in denying it. I said before that Roma seemed to be too big of a step, things need to be done gradually. There are many good wingers in Italy, yes it’s true, it is a role that is being rediscovered. The difference between A and B? There’s are 4-5 teams that are much stronger in Serie A, but as for the rest, it’s not much different. There’s definitely more pressure in the top division, but if you can manage, then you’ve already taken a step forward. An attacker for Roma? I think Iturbe would be the best, but Cerci wouldn’t hurt, either.”
