Roma & Genoa continue talks

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport, Roma and Genoa are continuing talks for Marco Borriello and Andrea Bertolacci.

Borriello, who still has one year left on his contract at Roma, has always been a favorite of Genoa’s Preziosi. The club is pushing very hard for the striker as it looks like Alberto Gilardino will be moving abroad. Genoa are also looking to take full ownership of midfielder Andrea Bertolacci, who has spent the past two seasons at the club. Roma are keen to retain some ownership of the player, so they may send him on loan to Genoa with a purchase option and then insert an option to block Genoa’s purchase. Recently, Roma have asked that fullback Šime Vrsaljko be involved in any potential deal involving Bertolacci.
