Sabelli weighs up future options

Roma’s Stefano Sabelli, who spent this last season at Bari, spoke today to Centro Suono Sport as the right-back discussed his future.

The guys are doing great things in Rome, there’s been great work with the young people…
“Roma has a lot of hard working guys on loan. Look at Florenzi’s growth and the things he’s doing. Even at Cesena, D’Alessandro is doing well. Also Viviani and Caprari and all the guys I played with in Roma’s Primavera who are throughout Italy.”

In Roma, you’d find a guy like Maicon on the right…
“Maicon is a great player, it wouldn’t hurt to learn a lot from him, he has a lot of experience to help us younger guys.”

Have you talked to someone in Rome about Rudi Garcia?
“I’ve seen Romagnoli during the break with the U-20’s and I asked him some things about Mister Garcia because I was curious about how he workds. The thing that shocked me the most was that after a match, he spoke Italian as if he were here for 20 years. He’s done great things this past season.”

Would you come back to Roma?
“I’d come back to Roma just to be the waterboy.”
