Gazzetta: Sabatini continues in Milan

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has returned from his trip to France and is now in Milan hoping to unlock deals for Roma’s mercato.

Reportedly, Sabatini’s first order of business is holding talks with Torino’s hierarchy to try and find a solution for the sale of Alessio Cerci. Sabatini is set to use Andrea Bertolacci, Nicolas Lopez, and Valerio Verre as bargaining chips in a potential deal for the former Roma man. Cerci has, apparently, given the “green light” to his agent to try and force a move back home to the capital. Roma will work over the next 7-10 days with Torino representatives in order to try and find a deal, if they’re unable to do so, their full attention will be given to Juan Manuel Iturbe.
