Il Corriere di Verona confirm Roma ready for Iturbe

This morning’s edition of Il Corriere di Verona has reported that Roma’s sporting director Walter Sabatini and Verona’s Sogliano have been in close contact over the last two months over Juan Iturbe and Romulo.

The paper is reporting that Sabatini will offer €30m plus full ownership of Marquinho in exchange for Juan Iturbe and Romulo. Iturbe, who is extremely interested in joining the Giallorossi, was recently retained on a permanent basis by the Venetians as they activated their €15m purchase option from Porto.

Just recently, however, it was learned that Sabatini is very interested in bringing the former Fiorentina midfielder Romulo to the capital. The Italian international, who enjoyed a very successful season with the Venetians, is a versatile midfielder who can also be deployed as a right-back, a trait that Rudi Garcia appreciates.
