Uçan’s agent admits Roma have made an offer

According to ForzaRoma.Info the final few details regarding Salih Uçan’s transfer to Roma are being finalised.

All that seemingly remains now is the signature on the contract and for Fenerbahce and Roma to agree on the potential payment scheme. Roma are expected to pay 10 million for the young midfielder but will give 10% of any future sale to the Turkish club. The reason Roma have agreed to give a percentage of a future sale is because Fenerbahce have allowed Roma to pay the 10 million transfer fee in separate installments. The reason for the relative speed in negotiations has been due to the player’s will to join Roma, which Fenerbahce executives duly noted.

The player’s agent, Ömer Uzun issued the following statement: “Roma have made a very interesting offer. Now that Fenerbahce have bought Diego, there is little space for Salih. For the moment that is the only news I have.”

Reports in the Turkish press suggest that Uçan will arrive in Rome on Monday to put pen to paper on a contract with the Giallorossi.
