Torino, Udinese deny Roma talks

Torino president Urbano Cairo and Udinese sporting director Cristiano Giaretta spoke today to dispel rumors of potential talks including AS Roma:

Cairo (Torino): “There has not been any contact with Roma for Alessio Cerci. I have not heard anything and haven’t heard from anyone, not even a phone call. I don’t know of any interest.”

Giaretta (Udinese): “Was there a clarificantion with Muriel? No. There was no clarification with the player, I heard (his words) yesterday he’s very happy to play for Udinese. Does Muriel believe otherwise (of remaining at Udinese)? There’s a different interview from the other day that is very different, at this point, which should we believe is true? Udinese’s position with Muriel? Muriel will remain in Udine, there aren’t any negotiations.”
