Pjanic confident in Bosnia’s World Cup chances

AS Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic spoke today to Sky Sports about Bosnia’s upcoming World Cup campaign:

“At the next World Cup, we’ll be the only rookie national team and we were proud of that. Every year we’ve grown up and we went out in the past European play-offs against Portugal, but we’re stronger now. After two qualifiers went wrong, the third time was the right one. I think we can aim for second place in qualifying. Argentina is the favorite, but we will not leave anything to the others. We know it will be very hard because there are no easy games at the World Cup. Our goal is to reach the 2nd round.”
