Roma look to resolve co-ownerships

Looking for reinforcements and not having to search far. Roma are looking to add players for their Champions League campaign and the Giallorossi may look in-house as a solution.

According to Sky Italy, Roma are working to resolve the co-ownerships of both Luca Antei and Andrea Bertolacci as Rudi Garcia believes the two youngsters can give the Giallorossi added depth at center-back and central midfield.

Antei, who made 22 appearances for Serie A survivors Sassuolo, was a staple at the back for Di Francesco’s men. The young center-back is greatly admired by sporting director Walter Sabatini and he’s more than likely to have Antei remain in the capital for next season. If Garcia deems Antei not ready for Roma, he’ll return to Sassuolo for another season.

Bertolacci, who has spent the last two seasons at Genoa after a year with Lecce, has been deployed as both an attacking and central midfelder for Il Grifone. Roma are set to purchase the remaining 50% of Bertolacci’s rights in exchange for Marco D’Alessandro, who is co-owned by both Roma and Cesena.
