Strootman interviewed by Roma Channel

Today, Kevin Strootman was at Roma’s training ground of Trigoria.

The Dutch midfielder arrived in Rome earlier this week from Holland, where he has been recovering from a season ending injury to his anterior cruciate ligament.

At Trigoria, Strootman was interviewed by Roma Channel, and the 24 year old commented on a number of topics, including his injury: “I’m fine, every day I get better. I work a lot in the gym and also in the pool. My teammates were glad to see me return, they wished me good luck and they told me that they are waiting for me to recover.”

“I thank everyone for the support, not only my teammates but also the medical staff, the technical staff and all the Roma fans. Champions League? Finally I can play in it, I’m happy for the club and also for the fans.”

“The most best moments of the season? The ten consecutive victories, my goal against Napoli and also to win my first derby. The Scudetto? Next year we’ll win it. “
