Tello linked with Italian clubs

Barcelona attacker Cristian Tello is being linked with a host of Italian clubs after the winger had a bust-up with manager Tata Martino following the draw to Getafe over the weekend. Tello, who is likely to leave the Catalans in the summer, has played sparingly this season as he has found himself behind Neymar, Pedro, and Alexis in Martino’s pecking order.

Josep Maria Orobitg, Tello’s agent, spoke today and commented on the rumors that have seen Roma, Inter, and Napoli linked with his client.

“Leaving Barca? It’s too early to talk about this. The situation at Barcelona is changing and first they need to figure out who the manager will be next season and whether there will be a changing of the guard. There are still many variables. Four or five major teams have inquired about him, but in the transfer market there is a big difference between these types of inquiries and official negotiations which, to date, there are none. He has a contract with Barcelona and we’ll have to wait until the end of the season to figure out the direction of the club.”
