Burdisso on Luis Enrique’s tenure

Former AS Roma centerback Nicolas Burdisso reflected on the tenure of former Roma and current Celta Vigo manager Luis Enrique:

“It was a unique experience to be in Roma with Luis Enrique. It was a nice surprise because of all that we learned and the charisma we showed, which went beyond the results. He is a great person. We learned a lot of concepts and we reinforced ourselves as players and people. His workouts? We would spend two hours on the field working and we would be very tired when it was over because he asked a lot of us, we had character and we all wanted to give our best. The story of Luis Enrique and Totti ended well. Luis Enrique wanted more from the star of the team and Totti had acclimated well to his wishes, so he ended up playing every game. Luis Enrique is a winner.”
