Renewal for De Sanctis?

Rome-based Il Messaggero is reporting that Roma will renew the contract of goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis.

The former Napoli man signed a contract with the Giallorossi until 2015 this past summer and has impressed with Roma with season, tying Gianluigi Buffon’s clean sheets record with 21.

The newspaper reports that Roma will use De Sanctis as their #1 goalkeeper until 2016 but will purchase a young prospect in the meantime. The Giallorossi will then loan out the young goalkeeper so that he can gain experience and be able to step right in for De Sanctis after he is likely to retire.
