Viviani discusses his future

After a poor loan stint at Pescara between July and December, a winter move to Latina has given Federico Viviani a new lease of life.

Now, having been one of the main protagonists for Latina’s promotion push, he sat down with Corriere della Sera to discuss his season and his future.

“In terms of the the national team there is little to say. The opportunity with Prandelli was a beautiful experience.”

“The heir to Pirlo? I honestly do not see myself as that, I think I have the qualities to be more like (Daniele) De Rossi. But they are both great champions and I still have long way to go before I’m on that level.”

“Roma?  I always watch them TV and they’ve had an extraordinary season this campaign.”

“Latina is a wonderful place, the stadium is always full and there is a great hunger for football here. For me it was the perfect choice, I came off a difficult spell at Pescara and Latina still believed in me. Then, once I arrived, I discovered that even this team was on a very high technical level, and just in general it’s a fantastic group. Thats why I say we deserve Serie A. ”

Latina have had a great campaign so far this season and sit in second place, behind Palermo, with 57 points.
