Colantuono weary of Roma’s offensive weapons

Atalanta manager Stefano Colantuono admits that it will be difficult to contain all of Roma’s offensive weapons as his team travels to the capital to take on the Giallorossi.

“Gervinho? You can’t stop him, with people like him, the most you can do is attempt to contain him. How? By avoiding giving him 40-50 ft. of deep space, because otherwise nobody will catch him. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that you can’t give him a lot of space.”

“It’s clear that on paper, the Giallorossi are superior to us, but we’ll play and without thinking of only defending ourselves. Roma are very attack-minded, but compared to previous years, they’ve defended better. Garcia has done a great job tactically and mentally.”
