Transfer Rumours: Roma eyeing Spurs duo Paulinho, Sandro plus Lukaku

As Roma continue on the course to 2nd place, Walter Sabatini is already at work ahead of the summer transfer window. With a return to European competition in sight, the giallorosso sporting director has been tasked with finding reinforcements for the squad in every area and I Lupi have been linked with several players in the Rome based Corriere dello Sport this morning.

Roma’s last opponents Udinese have four players on Sabatini’s wish list, and they are talented young goalkeeper Simone Scuffet, Brazilian left back Gabriel Silva, fellow countryman Allan (a defensive midfielder) and Argentinian winger Roberto Pereyra.

The Giallorossi are also eyeing players from the English Premier League, with Newcastle defender Davide Santon, Spurs midfield duo Sandro and Paulinho and Chelsea striker, currently on loan at Everton Romelu Lukaku all on the radar.

Youngsters Paredes and Viviani’s futures will be assessed on their return to the club in the summer. One of the striking trio of Sanabria, Vestenicky and Berisha will be kept whilst the other two will be loaned out. Golubovic is also likely to be sent on loan again following his time at Novara in the 2nd half of this campaign.

Meanwhile, Serbian forward Adem Ljajic’s future remains in doubt as he continues to be tracked by a number of foreign clubs, with Liverpool, Dortmund and Schalke all monitoring the ex Fiorentina man.
