Feng Edges Closer as Part-Owner of Roma

Asian business tycoon Chen Feng is quietly, yet steadily, edging closer to becoming a minority shareholder in Roma’s ownership structure. Initially, Feng was hesitant in acquiring the shares from Unicredit due to the intense media spotlight and pressure that is cast around Roma on a daily basis. But now, talks with Unicredit are increasing and the Asian hopes there will be a solution soon. As of now, Feng will buy all but 5% of the shares owned by Unicredit.

Roma would like to have the ownership situation figured out within the next few weeks because president James Pallotta and lead architect Dan Meis are expected to a hold a presentation for the unveiling of the model of Roma’s new stadium, which is expected to open in 2016, by mid-March.
