Pruzzo: “I Expect a More Motivated Roma”

Former Roma bomber Roberto Pruzzo spoke today and was asked about what he expects to see from Roma after their abrupt elimination from the Coppa Italia.

What kind of Roma do you expect after the Coppa Italia?
“What do I expect from Roma after their elimination from the Coppa Italia? A team even more motivated and focused to be the runner-ups to Juventus. I do not think that the result at the San Paolo will affect the performance of the Giallorossi in the league.”

In the meantime, Garcia will not have Totti on Sunday. Is the team mature enough to do well without their captain?
“I think it could be a good time to make sure that Mattia Destro proves his worth after a long time off due to injuries. It must be said that Totti remains a crucial player for the team.”

Now on to another attacker. What do you think of the season of Adem Ljajic?
“I’m still taking the sneers from almost half of Rome, but I continue to believe that Serbian is a real talent with the qualities to be a true hero. To succeed, however, he must find the right continuity.”

With the arrival of Nainggolan to the midfield in January, Roma’s midfield is considered second only to that of Juventus?
“I think that Roma and Juventus are the best equipped, but Fiorentina have a great midfield which plays at a high level.”

What kind of dangers will Roma have to overcome in their match against Sampdoria?
“In Genoa, Mihajlovic has done a great job, giving peace of mind to the team, even if they’re playing against the big teams. Roma will absolutely not underestimate Sampdoria.”
