Perrotta Talks Roma, Rudi Garcia

Former Roma midfielder Simone Perrotta weighed in on Roma’s season thus far and their upcoming tie in the Coppa Italia semi-finals against Napoli.

Rome vs Napoli?
“The field at the Olimpico on Sunday didn’t go well . Napoli is in a time of great difficulty while Rome is traveling a not-so-normal roadmap. But I think that a good game will come from this, as it’s between two teams in the championship race.”

Rudi Garcia…
“In recent years, Rome has had some extremist managers who came forward with their own beliefs even though the results did not give them any reason for this. Garcia gave the crucial balance to the team, players have arrived who are on the international level such as De Sanctis, Strootman, and Maicon, who have given more experience to the group. Then, the defeat in the Italian Cup with Lazio was the springboard for Roma, which has displyed competitive nastiness in every game. If there was not that defeat, Roma wouldn’t be the way it is today.”

“The regrets of Napoli are only in the recent priod. Until Christmas, they were in the championship. Also, Roma and Napoli have the misfortune to have met this amazing Juventus.”
