Perrotta Compliments Garcia and Roma

Simone Perrotta, former Roma midfielder spoke to journalists yesterday evening upon his arrival at the AIC Gran Gala awards ceremony.

Roma is doing very well in midfield…
“Absolutely, there is also plenty of choices, now there’s also Nainggolan. Four names for three spots; it becomes really difficult to choose as the manager.”

De Rossi has told you something about the Scudetto?
“We often talk, but rarely talk about football.”

The championship is still open?
“I think so because last Sunday showed us that Juve can lose some points and that Rome made up for their misstep in Turin. They’re having a crazy ride so I think that the championship will remain open until the last day when there will be a direct confrontation. Roma, theoretically, must retrieve only 4 points of the six, because then you play for everything on the confrontation day.”

“The job of the coach is under everybody’s eyes and he’s doing a great job, it was not easy, he took a team that was in pieces after the last result from last season. In my view, it is a team that can fight until the last day. It’s clear that a crazy team like Juventus is on top, but the hope is that they will lose some points down the road.”

He did not seem to arrive with great excitement of the fans, but he is proving to be a player of absolute value, he can match the speed to the technique. The ultimate goal is to see that those who have his ability to always look for the network of space at great speed.”
