Lippi Admires Roma’s Beauty

Last week, former Azzurri manager Marcello Lippi, now the coach of Chinese club Guanghzou, visited Trigoria and interacted with several players and also manager Rudi Garcia. Today, Lippi talked about his visit to the capital.

“What advice would give to Totti for the World Cup? I did not talk about this with Francesco last week, we talked about other things. Maybe if he were asked, he would go, but you shouldn’t ask him this. You should see what they (Prandelli, etc) think. I’m not giving advice to Cesare, anyway.”

“I went to greet Totti and Daniele De Rossi at Trigoria because I was in Rome for my daughter and there I met Garcia. I told him that his team gives a beautiful image abroad, there’s enormous group participation and a unity of purpose. Now that they’re 6 points behind Juventus, they don’t see why they shouldn’t expect anything. They are having a great year but it is also their opinion that if Juve continue so strongly, there is little that they can do.”
