Gazzetta’s Giulianelli Thinks a “Surprise” In Store for Roma’s Mercato

Roma Press spoke exclusive with La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, author of the new calcio book Dallunoallundici – Storie di Ordinaria Calciofilia, regarding Roma’s recent performances and an update on the mercato

Roma’s performance vs. Juve – was it the best of the season?
No, it wasn’t. In starting of the season Roma did a lot of wonderful performances. Maybe the one against Bologna was the best.

Rudi Garcia adapted well. Does the manager remind you of anybody?
Something of Spalletti, maybe. But I think Garcia is almost unique.

Napoli or Lazio: a preference for the Coppa?
I take what Totti declared: I have no preferences, the opposite team has to scared of playing against Roma.

Do you think the Scudetto race is over?
No, it’s not over at all. Roma can win.

Now the market. Burdisso and Borriello depart. Is there an update for Heitinga?
I can’t tell too much about it. But I think there will be a good surprise.
