Roma Advance in the Coppa, Knock Out Juventus

Roma have advanced to the Coppa Italia semi-finals after a triumphant 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico over Juventus.

The lone goal was scored by winger Gervinho in the 79th minute thanks to a beautiful counter-attack lead by Miralem Pjanic, who entered the match just minutes before. Roma were hardly challenged by Juventus in the match, as the Turin club did not even have an attempt on goal, as Conte’s “park-the-bus” game-plan backfired.

Roma will face the winner of the Lazio-Napoli fixture, adding the possibility of a Derby della Capitale in the Coppa Italia.
