Ntep “Honored” By Roma Links

French striker Paul-Georges Ntep of Auxerre has been linked with Roma in recent days and spoke exclusively to our friend Emanuele Giulianelli of La Gazzetta dello Sport.

What kind of player are you?
“I love to work hard during the week, because I like to learn something new every day. I prefer to play on the wing, where I can use my speed and my good technique. I also like to play one on one and provide assists to his companions. This year I am committed to improve in defense, an increasingly important factor in today’s football.”

Your name is at the center of many rumors: what do you think?
“I read a lot of things in the papers, but I’m totally focused on Auxerre, if you are talking my representatives. I can say I am very pleased to hear that very important teams are interested.”

What is your opinion of Italian football?
“For me it is still one of the best leagues in Europe. The Serie A will soon regain that reputation which, for me, it has never lost.”

Roma is very interested in you: the results?
“Being next to the Rome for me is an honor. It is a top club in Serie A and in Europe: I think every player who receives a call from this club would not think about it very long.”

Rudi Garcia knows of you? Have you had contact recently?
“Yes, he knows, but we have no been in contact lately.”
