Roma were handed their first loss by league leaders Juventus as the Turin club handed Roma an astounding 3-0 loss at home.

The first half saw Roma dominate possession but unable to capitalize on their greater portion of possession. Juventus went up 1-0 after Carlos Tevez was able to connect with Arturo Vidal in a clever connection in the box.

Juventus took little time after the break on extending their lead as Andrea Pirlo, marking his return to the club, was able to find Leonardo Bonnucci at the far post and put Juventus up 2-0.

Chaos ensued as the second half progressed, Daniele De Rossi was sent off for a reckless challenge on Giorgio Chiellini and then Leandro Castan was sent off for a foolish handball in the box, which also gave Juventus a penalty kick and a 3-0 lead, which was the final count at the end of the game.

Roma will host Genoa next week at the Stadio Olimpico.
