Castan Ready for “Final” with Juventus

Leandro Castan has spoken today before Sunday’s showdown with Juventus.

“It’s like a final. I’m sure that whoever wins will be closer to the title. The match deals with the two best teams in the league. Tévez? He’s a top player, but I know him well, it’s hard to stop an attack like the one they at their disposal. We can beat Juventus if we are focused.”

A Roma that has never lost, and is there among the best defenses in Europe…
“I never thought that we would become the backline less conceded in Europe, but Garcia has worked very well on this aspect. Thanks to him we have gained the trust that we lost earlier. For 2014, I hope the Scudetto.”

Thoughts on the Seleção?
“I hope for an invitation (to the World Cup). But, if I won the title with Roma then I’d happily go to Brazil just to cheer on the national side.”
