Destro Set For Debut
- Updated: 21/11/2013
A “new” player will make his season debut for Roma as the Giallorossi host the Sardinians at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday. Mattia Destro, as revealed by Il Messaggero, is set to feature for La Magica for the first time since his left hamstring injury. It is expected that Destro will be brought off the bench in the second half for Marco Borriello, who also is coming off of an injury.
Destro will give Rudi Garcia, already with limited options in attack, an additional choice for the lone striker role in the Frenchman’s 4-3-3 preferred formation.
