Simplicio Not Suprised by Roma

Former Giallorossi midfielder Fabio Simplicio, now of Cerezo Osaka (Japan), expressed his delight for Roma’s current form and the performances of the players.

“The exploits of Roma did not surprise me. The Giallorossi know the environment and the leadership and I was convinced that sooner or later their turn would come. If Garcia’s set-up can maintain this balance and compactness at the halfway point, their candidacy for the title should be accounted for.”

The Brazilian continued, “The rebirth of Pjanic? I’m very happy for him. Miralem is a great player from the technical and personal view, I was always impressed by his play in training. We are talking about a great guy that deserves this return as a protagonist on the field. Scudetto? Juventus has proven to be perhaps the best equipped, but as mentioned earlier also Roma and Naples can, in my opinion, play their cards to remain in the fold.”
