Spalletti Impressed by Rudi Garcia
- Updated: 06/11/2013
Former A.S Roma manager and current Zenit boss Luciano Spalletti spoke about his former club to Rai Sport:
“Roma have played very well , they had a small decline in the last two games, Napoli is a sly team with great players and pure talent but Juve still has something more for me. All three of these teams have madesignificant achievements. Roma will have to be very good, as they have been so far, if they want to fight to the end with Napoli and Juve. I’ve seen them play often this year and at first they made a wonderful impression on me. I bow down to the work of Rudi Garcia and I would love to see it work. In the last two games, however, they have had a dip in form, but this also is because of the absence of Francesco.”
The draw in Turin prevented the players in Giallorossi conquering the record of 11 consecutive wins set by Roma’s ‘Spallettiana’. He continued, “Records are there to be broken and I say sincerely that I would have liked to have been beaten by this Roma, which is a team that has remained in my heart.”
